Back in the office
I have avoided email the last week, except for the very necessary. I handled on the  blackberry. I don’t think I turned on the computer more than two or three times all week. It was a refreshing pause.
Here’s what gets me though. The spam that comes through even though you have decent filters. A guy could get real insecure from the stuff that gets through.
Anyway I hate having to wade through senseless advertising for man products. Does this kind of advertising really trap men. And if it does we are a pretty sorry lot.
I am amazed at the scams that people fall for like the one I keep getting about winning the European or Canadian Lottery. Pretty amazing since I didn’t enter. Or the one about the rich uncle dying in the middle east. Who are the nuts that fall for this stuff?
The truth is people will fall for anything. If you are a pastor you need to be careful not to let foolishness into your church. Watch who you promote. Watch who you refer people to. You pastor, are the keeper of purity in your church. Spiritually, theologically, experientially, psychologically, physically, watch your people’s backs and make sure they don’t fall to some whacko out there preaching “spam.”
